DISCOVERY KIDS

Discovery Kids proprietary and branded products brought science out of the closet and into the interactive world of the 21st century child. The science color palette (silver, orange and blue) was designed to reflect the overall look and feel of NASA meets Nike. Discovery Kids Arts and Crafts was an extension of the Discovery Kids Science product line, designed to encourage creativity and self-expression. The product color palette was targeted at the tween girl demographic without excluding the boy demographic. I directed development of the product line from initial product design though production.

DISCOVERY CHANNEL BABY

Discovery Channel Baby products were a line of product sold at the Discovery Channel Stores and online. The products were designed to delight and engage newborn to 3-year olds by stimulating their senses through color, patterns, sound, texture and movement. I directed development of the product line from initial product design though production.

READY SET LEARN

Ready Set Learn was a product line sold at Discovery Channel Stores and online. It was a character property developed as an extension of the Ready Set Learn animated programming on TLC. Targeted at preschool children who are curious explorers of the world around them, the products were designed to develop skills from creativity to independence. I directed development of the product line from initial product design though production.

CROCODILE HUNTER

Crocodile Hunter was a licensed line of products created for the Animal Planet network. The product line spanned a variety of product categories, i.e. games, novelty items, action figures, remote control, stationery, clothing, and linens. Packaging also varied, from window boxes and blister cards to platform boxes and hangtags. Working with licensees, I directed the product and packaging designs. The brand was refreshed after a year in stores, as shown by the updated style guide pages.
